In a recent article in the Huffington Post dated March 25,  Colorado’s unemployment rate reached 9.3 percent in February, 2011. This was on top of the January numbers of 9.1 percent (higher than the national average)!

So the next time you hear the GOP lecturing about how the unemployed are lazy and are just sitting around waiting for the unemployment check to arrive and have no intention of working for a living, remember who the real “Welfare Queens” are, and why the GOP doesn’t talk about them.

Now Senator Kyl, (R-AZ) is entering the fray by stating, “…continuing to pay people unemployment compensation is a disincentive for them to seek new work.”  In other words, if you’re unemployed, your lazy, period!
