Watch my exclusive one on one interview with Bill Ritter Jr., former governor of Colorado and currently the Director of the Center for the New Energy Economy. Our discussion started out with Governor Ritter explaining the overall focus and mission of the Center and why it was located at Colorado State University. According to the Center’s website, the United States is now ranked third in the world behind China and Germany in investing in clean-energy and Governor Ritter explained succinctly why this is happening. I asked Governor Ritter to explain “clean energy” and the use of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. What became clear to me from my conversation with Governor Ritter is that clean-energy or renewable energy is the economy, in other words, it is about national security, infrastructure rebuilding, the environment and job-creation. It is obvious, that Governor Ritter has the vision, passion, and knowledge to be a leading voice as Colorado takes a pivotal role in moving America towards a New Energy Economy!
