I’m excited to announce my exclusive one on one interview with Colorado State Senator Brandon Shaffer, Senate President and representing Senate District 17, as we discussed Colorado’s economic future. In the first segment we discussed Governor Hickenlooper’s “Colorado Blueprint” which is made up of six key components that are suppose to help promote economic development in Colorado. But the one I wanted to focus on was number 5 which states in-part, “educate and train the workforce of the future”. Now I found this component interesting when measured up against Senate Joint Resolution 10-002, “…that instructed the University of Denver to conduct a nonpartisan review of state and local government taxes (one that hasn’t been conducted of the state since the 1950’s)”. Check out the interview to see what the Summary of Phase 2 Findings had to say about cost cutting and raising revenues and Senator Shaffer’s comments. In segment 2 of the show, I asked point blank why Senator Shaffer is running for Colorado Congressional District 4. We then discussed the House Republican 2012 budget (a.k.a.
